The Photo Gallery--
Welcome to Jay Keenan's Photo Gallery. In this series, we have several of Keenan’s photographs divided into four distinct sections, which are comprised of “Artistic Photos,” "Photojournalistic/Published Photos,” "Landscape Photos," and “The Models.” A native of Plymouth, MI, Keenan has been taking photographs for a long time. Keenan started taking photos actively when he became one of the photographers for his high school student paper and eventually started doing free-lance work for several suburban newspapers in the greater Detroit area. Eventually, Keenan worked as a photo editor for a community college student newspaper and also wrote a significant amount of sports articles for a couple of different suburban newspapers in the Western Wayne County area. Outside of his media endeavors in Michigan, Keenan has worked as a bookstore manager and an inventory control specialist. In May 2000, Keenan relocated to Tempe, AZ, and then worked for an Internet company for four years in the Phoenix area, where he stayed active in media and communications related work. Keenan later taught elementary school for two years, and currently works as an HR Employment Verification Coordinator for a large company in the Valley area. Keenan has also worked as an Executive Level Recruiter for nearly three years in the past. Keenan received his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Walsh College (Troy, MI), and his Master's Degree in Education (MAED) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from University of Phoenix (Phoenix, AZ). On the side, Keenan has designed flyers for one of the ministry’s at a prominent local Catholic Church in the Phoenix area in the past, with some of his photos occasionally showing up on certain projects. Though most of Keenan’s photographic work was done back in his Michigan days, Keenan still devotes some of his spare time to taking artistic style photos. Keenan can be reached by e-mail at AKeyCall@aol.com.
